VOLUNTEER
There are several ways you can volunteer to help the Otsego Food Pantry – Opportunities for adults and children. The pantry is always in need of volunteers to help pick up groceries on Thursdays, bag groceries on Thursdays, unload deliveries, and restock shelves.
If you are interested in volunteering, please call, text or email the pantry. We can provide opportunities for high school students to earn volunteer hours. Again – just reach out to the pantry and we will put you to work.
Since 2024 – Kids Volunteer Hour
Pre-K through eight graders have an opportunity to work on projects at the pantry and in our community. We do things like bagging up dog & cat food, laundry soap and toilet paper. We sort new items, stock shelves and even did a community garden project in late spring 2024 and assembled Christmas Bags of goodies for our local nursing home residents in 2025. In 2026 we will continue to do the “Kids Volunteer Hour” on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm.
