FOR ANYONE IN NEED IN THE OTSEGO SCHOOL DISTRICT
When you visit the pantry, you will receive enough food to last at least 7-10 days. The amount of food provided is based on the number of adults and children in the home. We try to accommodate any dietary needs or restrictions. You will also receive basic toiletries like toilet paper, shampoo, laundry soap, etc. based on what you share that you need.
Individuals or families living within the Otsego school district or individuals or families who regularly attend a church that supports the Otsego Food Pantry are eligible for assistance once a month. When you visit the pantry, you will need to provide a photo ID and proof of residency with a utility bill OR lease agreement or have a referral from a local church. You must be willing to provide current address, phone number and names of all adults in the home.
You may call, text or email the pantry for an appointment. It is helpful to let us know when you will be available for a return call. You must talk with a pantry volunteer in order to get an appointment. We utilize that contact to review your needs and make sure that the food and toiletries you receive are what you need.

HOW DO YOU SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT:

The Otsego Food Pantry generally serves families on Thursday evenings. This allows our volunteers time to shop for your fresh food, sort all food items and get your groceries set and ready for pick-up.
We generally start our appointments on Thursday evenings at 5:30pm (nn 4th Thursdays @6:00pm) but are able to work with you if you are unable to make this time frame due to your work or school schedule. We offer delivery to shut-ins on a case-by-case basis.
The focus and mission of the Otsego Food Pantry is to serve healthier food to those in need. As we focus on the food, we are unable to assist directly with other needs. We can however connect you with needed services in your community so please share all your needs during your pantry call.
